For a two-story residential condominium in Quezon City, the engineering requirements were strict: the columns needed to reach a compressive strength of 6,000 psi in just 14 days. However, high-strength mixes are notoriously difficult to pour; they are often "stiff" and prone to incomplete filling of formworks, which leads to honeycombing.
