• Use sealants and handle waste per SDS and DENR rules
Fundamentals Of Concrete Surface Profiling And Advanced Floor Coating Systems
Expected Competencies upon completion:
• Assess concrete floor conditions and determine the correct CSP per ASTM and ICRI standards
• Select and apply suitable industrial flooring systems per BS 8204-6 and site requirements
• Perform surface preparation, coating application, and quality testing per ASTM standards
• Ensure safety, proper equipment use, and compliance with best practices for long-term durability
Understanding Modern Waterproofing Systems And Their Applications
Expected Competencies upon completion:
• Understand various waterproofing systems and common causes of failure
• Prepare surfaces and apply waterproofing for above- and below-ground areas per ASTM and EN standards
• Use proper tools, PPE, and sealants following DOLE OSHS and ASTM C920
• Follow safety, waste disposal, and handling procedures per SDS and DENR guidelines
Advanced Decorative Wall Coatings
Expected Competencies upon completion:
• Identify and apply advanced decorative finishes such as metallic, textured, and faux effects
• Prepare various substrates and select appropriate primers, sealers, and bonding agents
• Demonstrate advanced application and finishing techniques for specialty surfaces
• Follow safety protocols and develop basic marketing strategies for decorative finishing services
