In the premium residential sector, such as the Green Meadows subdivision in Iloilo, the standard for quality is exceptionally high. After years of using a "popular brand," Engr. Gilbert Tipolo of Babol Builders found that conventional products were failing to meet the long-term performance expectations of his clients. Seeking to eliminate waterproofing failures and subpar finishes, he switched to Buildrite’s integrated system for a high-end residential project.

The project required a "foundation-to-finish" approach to ensure the home remains pristine despite Iloilo's tropical climate:
• Critical Leak Termination: Before any coatings were applied, Buildrite Leak Plug was used to secure any active seepages and honeycombs. This rapid-setting hydraulic cement stops water flow in seconds, creating a solid base for the subsequent layers.
• Roof Deck Security: For the roof deck, Buildrite Flexicrete was chosen. This two-component flexible cementitious membrane is ideal for areas intended for a concrete topping, providing a durable, elastic shield that accommodates structural expansion.
• Wall Finishing Excellence: To achieve a flawless exterior, Buildrite Skim Coat SF (White) was applied. It corrected surface undulations and pinholes, providing a smooth, marble-like finish that significantly enhances the home's curb appeal while reducing paint consumption.
• The "Final Seal" for Walls: Buildrite Sapal 2-in-1 was utilized as a hybrid sealant and waterproofer. It bridges hairline cracks on the exterior walls, ensuring that the building remains watertight even under the pressure of driving rain.
• Flexible Tile Installation: For tiled areas, Buildrite Smartbond Flex was used. This high-performance tile adhesive is engineered to absorb vibrations and thermal movement, preventing "popping" or cracked tiles on the roof deck and wet areas.

By moving away from traditional singular products and adopting Buildrite’s comprehensive system, Babol Builders successfully delivered a residence that is as structurally sound as it is aesthetically stunning. This switch highlights a growing trend among veteran engineers: prioritizing specialized construction chemicals over general-purpose brands.
