Buildrite recommended a dual-layer system featuring Epocoat MB and Epocoat FC in Light Gray. This combination was specifically chosen to address the high-stakes environment of a machinery warehouse:
• Moisture Management: Buildrite Epocoat MB was applied as the first layer. This moisture barrier is essential for ground-slab warehouses, as it prevents osmotic pressure from causing the topcoat to bubble or peel, ensuring a permanent bond to the concrete.
• Industrial Durability: Buildrite Epocoat FC (Floor Coating) provided the final defensive layer. Formulated for heavy-duty environments, it offers excellent resistance to abrasion from tires and metal components, as well as protection against chemical degradation.
• Functional Aesthetics: The choice of Light Gray with a high-gloss finish served a strategic purpose. The glossy surface maximizes light reflection, making the warehouse interior brighter and feel more spacious, while also creating a non-porous surface that is easy to sweep and maintain.
