One of the most common and frustrating issues in large-scale manufacturing is a "dusting" floor. This occurs when the top surface of the concrete is weak or was poorly finished, causing it to crumble into a fine powder under the weight of forklifts and foot traffic. For a 1,800 sqm facility in Marilao, Bulacan, this wasn't just a maintenance headache—it was a safety hazard and a threat to product quality.

Typically, the only "permanent" fix for a severely dusting floor is the "remove and replace" method: jackhammering the old slab and pouring new concrete. However, for a functioning manufacturing plant, the cost and downtime of such an operation would be astronomical.
